Job Description

Veritas Administrators is seeking an experienced Recruiter to provide consulting and guidance in hiring initiatives by identifying, analyzing and addressing issues and/or conflicts which affect talent acquisition. This is a full-time position based in Joliet, IL. Salary range: $45K-$50K per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a network both inside and outside the industry; develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates.
  • Solicit candidates utilizing employment advertisements, internal and external position postings, the Internet, relevant websites, cold calling, and any other appropriate resources as necessary.
  • Develop creative sourcing plans to include traditional and web-based strategies.
  • Review, screen, interview and recommend top talent for a wide variety of positions including but not limited to P&C Claims Adjusters, Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters and administrative staff.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Coordinate internal interview process, communicate same to internal staff and external candidates.
  • Manage and track applicants and provide weekly recruitment status/activities update to management.
  • Extend verbal and written contingent job offers, coordinates required background screening.
  • Maintain employee referral program.
  • Conduct new employee onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Manage recruitment process and applicants consistent with regulatory and record keeping requirements.
  • Follow up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing of health, employment and insurance forms, notifying the department of employee’s starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.
  • Conduct exit interviews with terminating employees.

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple demands concurrently.
  • Effectively manage full cycle recruiting and meet required hiring deadlines.
  • Skilled in establishing positive, productive and effective working relationships.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidential information.
  • Demonstrate initiative and manage own performance effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Possess strong time management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of (3) years recruiting experience required, staffing agency experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field (required).
  • PHR certification (preferred) or HR Certification.
